Now technically it's not 2011 yet, but if you know me you that I have a habit of starting things early. Since the idea for this blog came to me only a few days ago, I thought it best to get it started while it was fresh in my mind.
The purpose of this blog is to account for what's going on in my life during that all important milestone of turning 30. I have no idea what is going to happen in the next year other than the few goals that I have set and am determined to achieve. Those goals are to buy my house and enroll in college classes to earn a business degree, beyond that it's all up in the air.
So, here are a few things that are making a prominent showing in my life right. Nearest and dearest to my heart are my kids, Lizzie and Grace. Both have autism and related issues and we are actively working to help them deal with everyday life to the best of their abilities. Then there's my mom, she's great but unfortunately age is taking it's toll and she is beginning to lose her eyesight. My love life is a good/bad thing in my life and also a bigger part of my life than it should be.I've been single since April 2009 with a few relationships since then but nothing major.
Unlike alot of people I know, I have no qualms about turning 30. I've always loved getting older, mostly because I've never felt my age. I have come to the recent realization however that I'm not exactly living my life to it's fullest potential. So, I thought maybe blogging this so called important year of my life may help me to see things differently. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
