Looking forward to the new year.

As usual I look at the new year as a promise of better things to come. Perhaps 2012 will bring many new and exciting things into my life. Forgive if this blog comes across as a little maudlin, but the holidays tend to remind me of the things I have not yet accomplished and/or experienced.
